R Rated Movies?

The other day i was at the movies with a friend, when a preview came on for a movie i had wanted to see, at the end of the preview it said rated R... i leaned over to my friend and said "I still want to see it, its only rated R because of language and violence." and i went on the rest of the day and did think about it again. The next night i was looking on Facebook and saw that one of my good friends had gone to see an r rated movie, instantly i though back to the movie i had wanted to see. I though about it the rest of the day and thought about how movies are only an hour and a half, and is a hour and a half of an R rated  movie really worth it?!? (R) means restricted. and there is a reason for that... for me at least i don't want the movie brings with it, bad thoughts, foul language, and some times images that no one should see... 

     i love all people whether they believe what i do or not, i never want people to think in being self righteous. and i am not judging my friend for seeing the movie. everyone has the freedom to choose. i love my friend and his choices are his own. R rated movies are for me :)
